We are Joshua and Bindi Kiregu, the husband-and-wife team behind Crafted Projects.
What we do
We provide Design & Build and Project Management services for small and medium-sized projects. We walk with our clients all the way from putting the idea in their minds on paper, to the final coat of paint making the idea a reality.

Our Story
We both got into project management after experiences on projects that made us recognise that it takes skill to keep a project under control, and in line with the vision and purpose that it started with!
After starting Crafted Projects as a Project Management and Design company and operating for a number of years, we experienced many frustrations with contractors and realised that there was a lack of reliable, professional, and quality-conscious contractors providing services for small-and-medium sized projects in Uganda. This led us to start the construction arm of our business, turning us into a Design & Build company.

This enables us to take on projects and not only keep them under control, but also ensure the designs are in line with the vision and purpose for the project, and that the construction work is done to a high standard and in a reliable timely manner.
We plan and manage every project together. Bindi is in charge of the design work and project planning, while Joshua is in charge of construction management and cost control.
Our Backgrounds
Bindi has a Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering from Cardiff University, a Graduate Diploma in Interior Design from University of the Arts London, and is a PRINCE2 Practitioner. She has worked in the construction industry for 10+ years doing Project Management and Design. She began her career working at Acorn Group Ltd in Nairobi where she was involved in Project Management for projects in Kenya, Uganda and South Sudan. She then went into consulting and worked on projects in Uganda and Rwanda until she settled back in Uganda and started Crafted Projects Co. with her husband.
Joshua has been working in Project Management for 6+ years, 4 of which have been in the construction industry. Before this he worked in Public Health for 10 years and has a Masters degree in Public Health. He started his career initially in Research and Grants administration and then eventually became the Project Manager for the Regional Centre for Biomedical Engineering at the University of Rwanda. This inspired him to transition into doing Project Management for construction projects. Joshua has a Certificate in Construction Project Management from Columbia University, New York.
